Helio Gracie originally taught Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in private sessions with one to four students in class.

Ryan Deichert spent most of the 90′s at the Gracie Academy in Torrance, California with Grand Master Helio Gracie and his sons. During that time, he studied and taught private lessons to a variety of students, ranging from the “average joe” to celebrities and athletes.

Gracie Jiu Jitsu private sessions are for beginners looking to learn the basics at their own pace or the advanced fighter looking to work on specific techniques.
